It's just five weeks now until the inaugural MachineBuilding.South opens its doors at Sandown Park, providing a unique environment where engineers in the south of England can learn how to unlock innovation and drive excellence in machine building and factory automation.
The launch of this new event sees over 130 suppliers coming together to provide a forum where you can discuss the latest products, processes and innovations.
Over the last three years, the MachineBuilding.Live suite of events have become a central platform for the UK machine-building community. The launch of MachineBuilding.South reflects the continued growth of that community, and increasing demand for focused, practical events where engineers can learn, compare solutions and connect directly with industry specialists.
This practical event is built around solving engineering challenges, in a unique format where you can explore the broadest range of solutions in a single day. And given the unprecedented challenges faced by all areas of industry today - from labour shortages and rising costs, to the need to transform processes and boost productivity - everyone is looking for answers. Technology has a key role to play, and you'll find solutions at MachineBuilding.South.
Alongside the exhibition, the event will feature an expanded programme of technical workshops that addresses the key issues impacting on machine builders and end users. And new for 2026 is a series of hands-on IO-Link training sessions providing a practical introduction to IO-Link integration and device parameterisation using live training rigs.
When we say "all the answers in one day", we really do mean that this is an event where you can get the maximum return on your time investment. It's going to be a fantastic day, and we very much look forward to seeing you there.
