Franke Bearings has announced increased design and production capacity at its Aalen plant near Stuttgart to cater for the increasing global demand for its standard and bespoke ranges of special lightweight bearings in aerospace, automotive, defence, medical, solar and other applications.
In aerospace, Franke wire race bearing elements and assemblies offer complete, ready to mount solutions for airborne cameras, antennas and more in both military and civilian applications. In aircraft themselves, lightweight, maintenance-free aluminium linear bearing systems are ideal for jigs, fixtures and tooling.
Other applications include food and beverage machinery, robotics and life sciences.
