Safety switches with 4 billion codes and RFID
Norstat now offers the O-TYPE Safety Switch from Mechan Controls. Unique codes combined with RFID technology that meets the requirements for type 4 applications.
O-TYPE safety switches offer 4 billion unique codes thereby eliminating any aspect of tampering or bypass. These O-TYPE safety switches can connect up to 30 switches in series and can also detect open and short circuits. All O-TYPE switches come with RGB advanced LEDs and have multiple states to indicate operational status including misalignment indication.
All O-TYPE switches utilise an ABS housing, have 2 OSSD safety outputs with 1 N/C ( with door open ) auxiliary output and come pre-wired with either 3, 6 or 10 m cable. O-TYPE switches have a MTTFD of >385 years, have a protection rating of IP 67 / IP 69K making them ideal for applications where harsh conditions such as high temperatures or high pressure washdown may exist as well as operate in temperatures ranging from -10 degC to +60degC.
