Norgren at Engineering Design Show 2013

Norgren will showcase a variety of products, from the IVAC (integrated valve and actuator control) range, to products for the life sciences sector including miniature solenoid valves including the Chipsol MS range, and both acrylic and aluminium manifolds.

IVAC is a weight and space-optimised actuator, suitable for a range of bore sizes from 32mm to 100mm, requiring only one pneumatic and one electrical connection, eliminating the need for multiple valve islands, components, tubing and accessories. Its features include an integrated valve system and magnetically operated switches for complete actuator control. It is suitable for a range of applications in manufacturing, in particular food and beverage production.

The Chipsol MS line-up boasts compact size, low power consumption and a wide operating pressure range. Specific material usage and optimum rinseability combine to minimise the risk of system contamination.

Norgren's range of custom manifold products will also be displayed, including its aluminium and acrylic options. These allow OEMs to reduce their instrument size and weight to improve reliability by integrating a variety of precision fluidic control components in a single sub-assembly.
