New interactive training workshops for metal 3D printing

Additive manufacturing, and metal 3D printing in particular, is becoming talked about more and more. Croft Additive Manufacturing has been using this technology for over four years and the company is concerned that 'UK PLC' is being left behind. It is Croft's intention to share some of its knowledge and experience with others. The company is therefore organising a series of interactive training workshops so that attendees with little or no knowledge can gain 'hands on' experience, together with a basic understanding of the procedures and the designs that can be manufactured.

Key reasons to attend the interactive workshops are:

  • Learn how to apply additive manufacturing (AM) within your industry
  • Learn from industry experts
  • Gain insights into the different types of AM
  • Benefit from one-to-one questions-and-answers with AM experts
  • Learn about AM in a practical, non-academic way
  • Study the complete AM process, from concept through to creation
  • Find out how AM can be applied to new markets
  • Take parts in hands-on activities
  • Learn about the finishing process
  • See AM software and designs tools in action
  • Acquire insight into selective laser meting (SLM)

As experts in the field, Croft Additive Manufacturing is promoting the courses under the banner Let's Spill the Beams. The course costs just 249 (+VAT), and coffee and lunch breaks are provided. Courses are scheduled for 17 January, 30 January and 9 February 2018.
