L03 pressure sensor for food industry machinery and equipment
Sensor-Technik UK is introducing the STW L03 pressure transducer. With its flush stainless steel diaphragm and compact construction, the L03 is designed with the food and beverage industry in mind. Mounted into a system via the weld-flange SF01, the L03 provides a safe, clean and reliable interface between monitoring and control systems, for applications such as level measurement.
The L03 offers current (4-20mA 2 wire / 0-20mA) or voltage (0-10V) outputs operating from excitation voltages of 9-30V DC or 14-30V DC for voltage output. Electrical connection is via an integrated M12 connector with optional cable connections provided as required.
Thanks to its use of a piezo-resistive measuring element, the LO3 can measure pressures up to 20bar with a linearity of 0.5 per cent; it also operates in temperatures ranging from -25degC to +85degC and monitors media at temperatures of up to +125degC.
