IoT/IIoT and factory automation are driving demand for ROLEC's updated pole-mountable technoPLUS (IP 66, IP 67, IP 69K) plastic enclosures. Electronics designers specify them for 'close-to-the-process' devices that must survive dust, moisture and regular washdowns.
Compact technoPLUS provides robust protection - allowing industrial electronics to be mounted directly on machine frames, production-line supports, conveyor structures or masts at the heart of the process.
These tough, UV-stable enclosures are ideal for IIoT LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and MQTT edge gateways, cellular telemetry units, industrial data loggers, edge computing nodes, remote PLC communications and wireless sensor concentrators.
Factory automation applications include industrial remote I/O stations, machine condition monitoring, wireless industrial networking, automated guided vehicle (AGV) and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) infrastructure, machine vision, distributed PLC systems, factory environmental monitoring and safety technology.
Versatile technoPLUS can be mounted either vertically or horizontally: the unique pole/mast attachment (accessory) is designed for use with plastic or metal straps. 'Lid closed' installation protects the electronics and seal when the equipment is being fitted or removed in bad weather or challenging industrial environments. Hinged polypropylene covers hide the lid screws and mounting channels.
The lid is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad, face plate or product label. Integrated supports hold the lid in place when it is open. Inside the enclosure, there are screw bosses for PCBs, mounting plates (accessory) and terminal rails (accessory).
The enclosures are moulded from ASA (UL 94 HB) in light grey (RAL 7035) with anthracite grey (RAL 7016) cover trims. There are five sizes from 90 x 130 x 70 mm to 170 x 270 x 90 mm.
