Bauer is well known for manufacturing a range of gear motors for industrial applications, but until now the perception of the business is generally as a supplier of smaller units. The new area Industrial Drive Applications adds another string to Bauer's bow, allowing it to offer customers total packages across entire sites in many different industries. The area offers a range of gearboxes with varying torque depending on requirements, including Helical and Bevel Helical gearboxes which deliver up to 300,000Nm of torque and planetary gearboxes which offer up to 1,500,000Nm of torque.
