HBM launches new hygienic single-point load cell
HBM's new PW37P load cell is EHEDG certified, ensuring it meets the strictest hygiene requirements. The company states that this makes it suitable for food packaging and the aseptic filling and weighing or packing of food and beverages. With capacities of 50kg, 100kg and 200kg, the PW37 complements the existing HBM PW27 (10-20kg) and now allows the hygienic weighing of higher loads.
The PW37P is designed to withstand use in humid environments and with powerful chemicals, and offers a robust build featuring stainless-steel materials. It has a smooth outer layer, so liquids slide off and dirt is easy to remove. It is also has Accuracy class C3 multi-range (OIML certified), with Y up to 25000 for the PW37PY version, which enables the user to make precise measurements.
