The final shortlist for the 2025 FDF Awards has been announced, judged by leading figures from the food and drink industry. The winners will be unveiled on Thursday 11 September at the iconic Roundhouse, London.
FoodManufacturing.Net has been following a number of the categories for entrants, including Apprentice of the Year, Food and Drink Engineer of the Year, Rising Star, and Manufacturing and Digital Transformation.
In the Apprentice of the Year category, the shortlist for the award is: Alexander Austyn - Unilever UK and Ireland; Rosie Barnes - Unilever UK and Ireland; Gabby Dineen - Unilever UK and Ireland; Annabelle Talbot - Mondelez International; Joshua Wiley - Weetabix Food Company; Daniel Piaskowski - Samworth Brothers Cornwall; and Freya Leigh Shields - Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
In the Food and Drink Engineer of the Year category, the shortlist for the award is: Jerry Mead - Elopak; Fiona Stafford - Lionel Hitchen; and Laura Malhi - Mondelez International.
In the Rising Star category, the shortlist for the award is: Frances Chatto - Mondelez International; Kalim Yasin-Guilfoyle - Mondelez International; Hannah Wareing - Aunt Bessie's; Vlad Racins - British Sugar; Will James - Premier Foods; and Urmimala Bose - Shicken Foods.
In the Manufacturing and Digital Transformation category, the companies shortlisted for the award are: Foods Connected and Freshpak; Unsworth; Siemens GB&I and Entocycle; Mondelez International; Weetabix Food Company; The Pudding Compartment; and TraceGains
