DualVee Swaged Integral Studded Wheels for hostile environments
HepcoMotion is introducing DualVee Swaged Integral Studded Wheels in concentric and eccentric designs. These are the latest additions to the company's DualVee Motion Technology (DMT), which is typically used in anti-friction guidance systems - such as pick-and-place units and packaging machinery - not requiring the ultra-high precision offered by the HepcoMotion GV3 System.
According to HepcoMotion, the new swaged wheels improves the ability of DualVee technology to withstand hostile and tough environments.
Manufactured in four sizes and in concentric and eccentric designs, the DualVee Swaged Integral Studded Wheels may also be specified in stainless steel for corrosive environments or for washdown conditions in food and beverage applications. Further versions are stocked for low- or high-temperature applications, and custom greases may also be requested.
In common with the standard, single-piece DualVee Integral Studded Wheels, the swaged versions have the same low-profile design and large threads that provide greater rigidity and increased mounting torque capability. They are also interchangeable so that existing applications can take advantage of the new swaged option.
The new DualVee additions are supplied in short lead times and there is no minimum quantity stipulated. Custom stud lengths can also be supplied on request.
