New video shows how igus energy chains make movement easy

Known as the umbilical cord of modern machines, energy chains ensure the supply of energy, data, liquids and signals while in constant motion. For nearly 40 years, igus has been developing, producing and testing plastic energy chains during which the expertise accumulated is being continuously refined and directly incorporated in new products. Now the company has produced a short video to show how its energy chains make movement easy.

MTC installs Trumpf TruPrint 3000 metal AM system

A TruPrint 3000 metal additive manufacturing (AM) system from Trumpf has been acquired by the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). Installed within the MTC's National Centre of Additive Manufacturing (NCAM), this advanced machine, which is based on laser metal fusion (LMF) technology, forms a key part of the NCAM capability.
